the fuzzy project

(im so scared! its my first post ever!)

so since sarah is moving all the way to japan and because tom and i will be sad and lonely and bored withouth her, we have decided to take on specific projects to make the time go by faster and keep ourselves busy while she is away. the first such project is operation 'make fuzzy hair boy our friend'.

fuzzy is one of our most interesting library celebrities! he has fuzzy hair and a waterbottle and likes to spend 45% of his time in the library gazing off into space! (obviously we spend just as much time observing fuzzy as he spends gazing) anyway we are all practically best buddies except that we have never really met :)

i think that this the perfect project because:
1. fuzzy got the ball rolling by having a random conversation with tom about holidays
2. sarah has had dreams about fuzzy already
3. he drove behind me in traffic the other day
4. we found a mug with his real name on it (this last point is especially surprising because, although we will not mention his real name, its not a very common and is actually quite different. oh, and we were not specifically looking for a mug with his name, it was quite by accident, we promise)
5. we think he is cool

altogether, there is overwhelming support in favour of the fuzzy project!
yay!

yayayayaaay fuzzy!

rina i think you should date him. and i know i say that about a lot of people, but with this one i think i hit the nail on the head. you balance each other perfectly. he's all ADD and stares into the distance without purpose and you're all hard working and stuff.

i wish wish wish i could remember that dream i had about him ... hmmm...

you know someone who went on the trans-oriental express! That's awesome! I want to do that one day! It's that or copy Ewan McGregor and go around the northern hemisphere on a motorbike, but I don't have a bike, and could not ride one if I did have it (although if I got one learning would be much easier...)

Train rides rock!

Will there be updates? I haven't been too active in the blog world, but I am looking forward to Sarah's updates from Japan and, of course, learning more about the exciting lives of Shakti and Tom.

Hope you are all well!

About us All

Tom is a 23 year old gay fella from Joburg. He has a passion for the city in which he lives, and his mission in life is to rid the city of its bad elements. He is a final year law student at the University of the Witwatersrand, and is unsure which direction in life he wants to take. He advocates for the legalisation of prostitution, and the demarginalisation of rottweilers.

Shakti is a 22 year old lady from Joburg. She is currently pursuing a (rather hectic) Honours degree in Economics from the University of the Witwatersrand. She has a love for cats and all things cute and snuggly, and emits a delightful squiel when confronted by something cute and furry. She is terribly sexy, and dashingly modest about it all.

Sarah is a 23 year old lady from Joburg. She will soon be relocating to Sapporo in Japan, where she will be teaching little Japanese kids how to speak Afrikaans. She has an honours degree in genocide studies, and is one day going to be an ambassador for South Africa where she will have kick-ass tea parties and invite Tom and Shakti. She does not advocate for the legalisation of prostitution, but does advocate (and practices) large amounts of Catholic guilt. She would make that Rottweiler Pope proud.
